Our Philosophy
St. John's Preschool believes children learn best about God’s world through experimentation and exploration. God made each child unique and special, therefore, individuality is encouraged.
St. John's Preschool believes that children learn best through play and by developmentally appropriate activities with a wide variety of materials.

St. John’s
Christian Preschool provides a theme-based curriculum paired with age appropriate
activities. The curriculum includes children's literature and Bible stories,
music, exposure to letters, numbers, colors and shapes, as well as field
trips and holiday celebrations. Each class session includes circle time,
art activities, large muscle development, social play and snack time.

St. John’s Preschool
offers classes for children who are 2 ½ through 5 years old.
Each class will have two teachers.
Early Three’s
This class is geared to children age 2 ½ - 3 ½. It runs two mornings per week from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Parent participation is encouraged in this class. The maximum number of students is 12.
Three-year-old Class
We offer our three-year-old classes two mornings per week from 9:00- 11:30. Children must be 3 years old by September 1st. The maximum number of students is 16.
Pre-Kindergarten I
This Class is offered three mornings per week to children who are 4 years old by September 1st. Class time is from 9:00 – 11:30. The maximum number of children is 16.
Pre-Kindergarten II
Our PreK II class is offered 3 days per week from 9:00 - 1:00 p.m. (must be 4 by September 1st). Children will bring along a lunch from home each day. The maximum number of children is 16.
Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch will be offered to our Three-year-old and Pre-Kindergarten I students. It will be offered one Thursday each month (beginning in November). Children bring a lunch and remain at school until 1:00 p.m. for extra activities. We do things such as games, story time, group art projects, and various centers. (There is a fee for Lunch Bunch in addition to the regular tuition fee.)
